Hey. So Marvel’s got their movie character rights more or less split between Disney and Sony.

But now the Marvel Cinematic Universe has a TV show. on TV. Which isn’t a movie. And given that Spider-Man in the “Ultimate Spider-Man” animated series has fought along-side both Avengers AND Wolverine…

does that mean that ANY Marvel character is allowed to appear in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.?

I’m honestly not sure. I mean, obviously if they could have any characters from Sony Marvel movies appear in the show they couldn’t be played by the same actors or wear exactly the same costumes. But…yeah. I’m curious. Is this a thing?

DON’T BELIEVE THE HYPE

There’s some article on some website somewhere that essentially boils down to “IT’D BE COOL IF ANDREW GARFIELD SHOWED UP AT COMIC-CON THIS YEAR AND SAID HE WOULD BE IN AVENGERS 2. THAT’D BE NEAT IF THAT HAPPENED”

and the TITLE of the article is “Andrew Garfield makes a surprise appearance and Marvel announces Spider-Man will appear in ‘Avengers 2′”

WOOOOOW. That’s really shitty. Because obviously everyone is just reading the title and believing it.

Come on. Not cool.

toochles:

TEAM AVATAR, ASSEMBLE!
Mako is Capt. America for no real reason. I just figured out of the two brothers Bolin would be less likely to confidently give Korra a direst order.
Because let’s face it. Korra’s favorite Avenger would be the Hulk. Let’s all stop pretending he wouldn’t be.
Enjoy!

I drew a thing to celebrate me marathoning Korra all day.

You guys I think I found the perfect theme song for Thor 2.

So I read up on each Avenger’s history on Wikipedia…

They were all pretty good looking up until the 80s, one reason being everything got self-referential and crossovery and it was hard to tell what was even going on just from the synopses. It really made me want to not buy any of their comics with the exception of the Iron Man arc Doomquest where Dr. Doom and him are sent back in time to Camelot.

Looks pretty boss, man.

I Drew a Doodle during Class…

…of the Hulk. Funnily enough, I tried using references last night since I’m not confident in muscle-anatomy at all, but I kept messing up and gave up. But this morning I was all “FUCK references, let’s do this!”

And I was pleased with the result. But the pose was kind of awkward since it was a spur of the moment fast sketch…so it needed SOMETHING.

I think that did it.

Avengers Fandom Thought…

After seeing all the fans obsessing and spazzing and gif-making on Tumblr, and going to see the movie multiple times…

There are people, including high-ranking people in the comics industry, who still think women don’t like comicbooks…

I’m so glad Disney and Warner Bros. owns Marvel’s and DC’s characters, respectively, because they’re doing way better with them then Marvel & DC are.

The first Spiderman movie had a cover of the old cartoon themesong.

Kinda wish they found a way to incorporate this into the Thor movie.

:c Oh well there’s always the sequel…
